As we strive to always produce the very best Zinfandel we can, we began to explore other regions and vineyards outside of Sonoma County that would allow us to capture different expressions of Zinfandel and showcase the diversity and range of styles for this variety. Our exploits led us to some very unique vineyards in Paso Robles that, like Sonoma County, has a rich history of wine growing that has largely been shaped by the success of Zinfandel, planted there as early as the 1880’s. Paso Robles features a generally warmer and drier climate than Sonoma County with different soil compositions and some stunning old vines sites.
